The Bomb Bassets are a really rocking band consisting of all three current
members of MTX, Dallas Denery (of Sweet Baby fame), John Denery
(of the Hi-Fives), and Kevin Army, producer extraordinaire. They've put out
an album, an ep, and a split 7" with the McRackins. They also appeared on the
"A Slice of Lemon" compilation on Lookout!/Kill Rock Stars and the Lookout compilation "the Last Great Thing You Did."
They've played a select number or shows, one of which I've had the extreme pleasure of seeing (see the show story at the bottom of the page). Sadly, they never have and almost
certainly never will do a full blown tour. Future plans for the band are pretty uncertain, due to the fact that the members have so many other things going on.
This page started out as a segment of my Mr. T Experience page, but I've been trying to expand it. It isn't quite as thourough as I'd like it to be, since I've had trouble locating many interviews, articles, pictures, etc. If anyone has ANYTHING Bomb Bassets related,
