This is a list of the members past and present, and the other bands they've been in/are in. I'm still missing some information; let me know if you're aware of any gaps!
Aaron | Alex | Bobby | Byron | Dr. Frank | Erik | Gabe | Joel | Jon Von | Jym | Ted
Aaron
Aaron played bass, and replaced Byron before the Big Black Bugs tour, but his first appearance on an MTX recording was the Shonen Knife cover "Flying Jelly Attack" on the compilation Every Band Has a Shonen Knife Who Loves Them. His final recording with MTX was ...And the Women Who Love Them in 1994. From Aaron himself, "Prior to MTX, I was in some goofy high-school garage bands, and also in an LA rock band called I Love You (who actually had a record on Geffen after I left the band). Post MTX, I was in Samiam and the Actionslacks, and I am currently playing with two bands: The Stacks and Love Kills Love."

Alex
Alex was the drummer from the very
beginning of MTX, and continued to play with them until 1993. His last
MTX recording was the song "Hello Kitty Menendez" for the compilation Soda Punx.
Once again I don't know what bands he played in before MTX, and I'm not
sure what bands he's played in since.

Bobby
Bobby is one of the two new members of
MTX. His first MTX recording is Yesterday Rules.
Bobby is currently in the Knockoffs and Red Star Memorial. He is a
former member of The Decibels, Go National, Lucky 13's, The Porchupines,
and Joe Hardcore.

Byron
Byron was the original bass player, but quit
MTX after the recording of Big Black Bugs Bleed Blue Blood in 1989. I don't much about other bands Byron has been in, although
as a teen he was in the Bent Nails.

Dr. Frank
Dr. Frank is the commander of the
"MTX Starship." He's the only original member of MTX, and plays guitar
and sings and all that good stuff. He also writes almost all the
songs (Jon Von wrote some songs when he was in the band). Frank was in Thor hahaha
(you'll understand when you see it) and the Bent Nails before MTX. Since the beginning of MTX he has also played for Sweet
Baby (very briefly, on drums) and was also in the
the Bomb Bassets
when they were active.

Erik
Erik was been a behind the scenes part of MTX for a while, but
didn't start playing at shows until the summer of 1999. That only
lasted for a couple years. He's played on Love is Dead and Revenge Is Sweet and So Are You, and is featured even more on Alcatraz.
As far as Erik's other bands, he mostly plays in ska bands. He toured
with the English group Bad Manners, and has played in Hoodlum Empire and
the Mud Sharks. He's also a song writer, and his talents are
featured in his main band, Radio Noise.

Gabe
Gabe was the bass player briefly during the Miracle of Shame period. He appeared on Alcatraz (although
he was not an official member) and Miracle of Shame. As far as
other bands he's been in, the ones that I know of are Tilt and Los
Blockheads. Due to space constraints, I put the bio he wrote on a separate page Read it. I'm not sure what he's been up to since leaving MTX.

Joel
He first appeared on Alternative is Here to Stay in 1995, and his last appearance was on Alcatraz in 1999. Joel left MTX to focus on his own band, The Plus Ones.

Jon Von
Jon Von played second guitar for MTX from the beginning until he quit
following the European tour in 1992. He briefly rejoined the band for
a series of reunion shows, but it didn't work out. His last recording
with MTX was on "Vive La France" which appeared on the compilation Can of Pork. After MTX, Jon was in the now defunct Rip Offs. The most recent band
he's played with to my knowledge is Les Draguers.

Jym
Jym is the current drummer for MTX. His first recording with the band was ...And the Women Who Love Them. When Jym was in high school, he was in a band called "Forbidden Evil."
He was also in at least a couple other bands, the Slambodians and Jolt.
Jym was also in
the Bomb Bassets.

Ted
Ted is the current second guitarist/keyboard player for MTX. His
first recording was Yesterday Rules. Ted's previous bands include: The Stupid Jerks, Yellow Sloth Chicken
Broth, and The Mallrats.
