The Bent Nails were the band that Frank and Byron were in when they were in high school. They played a bunch of shows and had one song on the MRR compilation "Not So Quiet On The Western Front." The lyrics aren't up to par with what he writes today, but hey, everybody had to start somewhere, right?
For those of you who are interested, the compilation that the Bent Nails appeared on has been reissued. It's definitely worth checking out.
